ShredderCare Shredder Bag Fitting Guide

Shredder Care Paper Shredder Waste Bags & Shredder Bag Sacks are a Multi-Fit Fan Gusset Universal Design, Developed to Suit a Wide Range of Home, Professional & Commercial Office Paper Shredder Models. With the following fitting guide you can use one of two different methods of matching the correct sized bag to you paper shredder.

Fitting Method 1 – Cabinet size to bag size

Step 1: Measure your cabinet width and cabinet depth then add the cabinet width and cabinet depth then multiply x 2. This calculation will provide the shredder cabinet circumference. Multiply the cabinet circumference x .85, this will be the shredder bag circumference required.

Example:

Cabinet width 50cm and cabinet depth 46cm = 96cm
Cabinet width and cabinet depth 96 x 2 = 192cm
Cabinet circumference 192cm x .85 = 163cm

Step 2: Measure the receptacle height (you will have to open the cabinet door to take this measurement) from the floor level. Multiply the measured receptacle height x 1.3. This calculation will provide the bag height required.

Example:

Receptacle height from floor level = 100cm
Receptacle height 100cm x 1.3 = 130cm

Fitting Method 1 – Bag size required = Height 130cm x Circumference 163cm
Circumference can be up to 1.2 times the circumference calculation due to the “Shredder Care “Fan Gusset” design shredder bags.

Fitting Method 2 – Bin/suspension frame size to bag size

Step 1: Measure your bin/suspension frame width and depththen multiply x 2. This calculation will provide the shredder bag circumference.

Example:

Bin/suspension framewidth 56cm + bin/suspension frame depth 50cm = 106cm
106 x 2equals finished circumference of 212cm.

Example:

Receptacle height from floor level = 100cm
Receptacle heightn100cm x 1.3 = 130cm

Fitting Method 2 – Bag size required = Height 130cm x Circumference 212cm
Circumference can be up to 1.2 times the circumference calculation due to “Shredder Care “Fan Gusset” design shredder bags.
